Artificial Intelligence and Metaverse for Immersive Educational Scenarios

Scope:
This special session focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence and metaverse technologies to construct immersive, interactive, and intelligent educational scenarios. It aims to explore innovative theories, technical frameworks, application paradigms, and practical cases of metaverse-based teaching, adaptive learning, virtual learning space construction, and learner experience optimization in modern education. Relevant research achievements including technical innovation, system development, educational application and empirical studies are welcome.

Special Session II
VR/AR Immersive Technology for Intelligent and Personalized Teaching

Submission Deadline: October 20, 2026

Scope:
This special session is dedicated to the research and application of VR/AR immersive technologies in intelligent and personalized education. It covers immersive teaching scenario design, AI-powered personalized learning content generation, interactive teaching system development, learner cognitive improvement, individualized skill training, and educational effect evaluation based on virtual and augmented reality. Original research papers, technical reports and practical application cases are all encouraged.

PUBLICATION

Submitted papers will be peer reviewed by conference committee. Accepted papers after proper registration and presentation will be published into AIEPL 2027 Conference Proceedings, which will be indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.

Submission Guidelines

1. Full Paper Submission (Presentation & Publication)

  • Full Papers will be invited to give the presentation, and the paper will be published in the conference proceedings.
  • English is the official language of the conference; the paper should be written and presented only in English.
  • Each paper should be more than 10 full pages and less than 12 pages normally, including all figures, tables, and references.
  • The first 12 pages are free of extra fee, extra pages will be charged at $80 (US dollars/per page) when the paper exceeds 6 pages.

2. Presentation Only (Without Publication)

  • For those who are only interested in giving a presentation without publication, a 200–400 words abstract is enough for submission.
  • The abstract should be submitted via the online system, and it will be reviewed for oral presentation.
  • Presenters will be awarded an official Presentation Certificate after the successful session at the conference.

3. Delegate Participation (Without Publication & Presentation)

  • You are welcome to attend the conference as a delegate to participate in all technical sessions, keynote speeches, and networking activities.
  • No paper or abstract submission is required for listeners; you can register directly through the registration system.
  • Attendance Certificate will be provided to all registered listeners during the conference.
