The AIEPL Organizing Committee invites proposals for Special Sessions.

Special sessions complement the regular technical program by highlighting cutting-edge, emerging, and high-impact research topics in artificial intelligence in education, personalized learning, educational big data, intelligent tutoring systems, and immersive learning technologies. The topic of a special session proposal should be timely, innovative, and of broad interest to the AIEPL research community.

Please submit proposals (approximately 3 pages) in .doc format by email to the aiepl_conf@yeah.net.

Required Contents:

  • Title and abstract:
Propose a concise session title and a brief abstract of no more than 200 words, clearly illustrating the research scope, core themes, and academic focus of the proposed special session related to AI in education, smart learning, and educational intelligent technology.
  • Rationale:
Explain the novelty, timeliness, and academic significance of the special session topic. Describe its relevance to artificial intelligence in education, learning analytics, educational assessment, human-AI collaborative teaching, immersive learning, and other AIEPL core research areas.
  • Proposed speakers:
Provide a full list of planned presentations, speakers, and co-authors for this special session. A standard special session normally includes 6–8 papers and presentations covering educational AI theories, algorithms, systems, and practical applications. Exceptional arrangements, including industry keynote speeches and extended-time invited talks, are acceptable. Please contact the Special Sessions Chairs in advance for special arrangement applications.
  • Biographies:
Provide short professional biographies of all special session proposers and organizers.
